Programs at Still Rise Farms

Still Rise Farms offers educational and experiential programs for individuals navigating cancer, chronic illness, and food insecurity, as well as for caregivers, youth, and professionals across healthcare, nonprofit, pharmaceutical, and industry sectors. Our programs explore evidence-informed wellness practices that complement conventional medical care, guided by the 4 M’s – Meals, Movement, Mindset and Medicine.

Participants can purchase a share of the farm’s harvest, providing access to fresh, locally grown produce while supporting the farm’s operations. This program is designed for individuals living with cancer, chronic illness, or food insecurity.
Through gardening and plant-based activities, participants gain hands-on experience in plant care, cultivation, and sustainable gardening practices. This program provides educational and practical experiences that connect participants with nature.
Multi-day programs provide structured opportunities to explore wellness practices. Activities may include yoga, meditation, art therapy, and group workshops, all designed to offer participants practical tools and guided experiential learning.
Participants explore a variety of movement-focused and lifestyle activities, including exercise routines, mindfulness practices, and interactive workshops that teach practical approaches to maintaining an active lifestyle.
In partnership with universities and trade schools, this program offers courses and workshops on culinary medicine, including nutrition education, meal planning, and cooking demonstrations informed by scientific research.
Participants learn about nutrition and its role in supporting health through hands-on classes, workshops, and demonstrations. This includes meal planning guidance, cooking techniques, and understanding how to interpret food labels.

This program teaches participants sustainable farming practices and equips them to share these practices with their own communities or implement them in personal gardens.

Educational activities introduce children and teens to concepts of food literacy, gardening, and nutrition, including hands-on opportunities to grow vegetables and learn about culinary medicine principles.

Still Rise Farms offers tailored workshops and educational programs for leaders in healthcare, nonprofit, pharmaceutical, and industry sectors. These sessions demonstrate how evidence-informed wellness practices can complement conventional care and provide practical strategies for supporting patients, employees, or organizational wellness initiatives.

Our wellness days bring together patients, providers, and industry experts for educational and experiential programs focused on navigating life with cancer and chronic illness. These events feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, offering participants the opportunity to learn, engage, and explore guided wellness practices in a structured, educational setting.
